The Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics has appointed Colonel Kapil C. Jodh will join as Registrar of the Institute with effect from August 1, 2022.

Colonel Jodh, who graduated from the National Defence Academy, Pune, has done his M.Sc. (Tech.) in Weapon Systems from the Savitribai Phule Pune University, and an M.Sc. in Defence & Strategic Studies from Madras University.

Besides, he has also completed his Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.

Colonel Jodh has held many important positions in the Indian Army, notably as the Company Commander & Battery Commander, Operations Officer, and Deputy Commander, before taking premature retirement in January 2022 as Deputy Commander (Chief of Staff/ Director).
